Data Description

    NESDIS Global 50-km twice weekly sea surface temperature (SST) product, 2001 to 2016 - Product shows global sea surface temperatures in degrees C. It is a composite gridded-image derived from 8-km resolution Global SST Observations and is generated twice weekly (Tuesday and Saturday) on a global scale. SST is defined as the skin temperature of the ocean surface water.
