Data DescriptionATMS TDR Products (ATMS_TDR) - The Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder (ATMS) is a cross-track microwave sounder providing atmospheric temperature and moisture observations for weather and climate applications. A Temperature Data Record (TDR) includes geolocated antenna temperatures, calibration data counts, and ephemeris data produced from Raw Data Records. This data family includes a single ATMS TDR providing temperature measurements at a nadir resolution of 15.8 - 74.8 km. The ATMS TDR is used as input to produce ATMS Sensor Data Records (SDR). ATMS TDR data obtained from the NOAA Comprehensive Large Array-Data Stewardship System (CLASS) are distributed as aggregated 8 minute files consisting of 15 granules in the Hierarchical Data Format v.5 (HDF5) with metadata attributes included.
